Rajapruk University demonstrates a strong institutional commitment to Education for the SDGs in the wider community through a diverse range of outreach programmes that extend learning opportunities far beyond the campus. These initiatives actively engage alumni, local residents, displaced people, and broader community groups, ensuring that knowledge, skills, and capacity-building efforts are accessible to all.

A major component of this outreach is the University’s long-standing work with local residents, particularly through community health promotion projects aligned with SDG 3 and SDG 17. The “Pressure Off: Reduce Blood Pressure, Increase Happiness” programme and the “Happy Living, Defeating Hypertension” initiative exemplify this commitment. Conducted in collaboration with local health professionals and Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospitals, these activities provided direct health education, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on services to community members, especially older adults. Public health students also contributed through practical activities such as therapeutic foot massage services, strengthening health literacy and empowering residents to take charge of their well-being. In several community health events, outreach activities included support for displaced individuals residing temporarily in the area, ensuring they received equal access to health education and preventive-care knowledge, reflecting the University’s inclusive SDG approach.

In addition, we also provide structured SDG-related educational outreach to both teachers and alumni. Alumni engagement is demonstrated through the specialized training session “AI for Teaching and Learning,” which supports former students in strengthening their digital teaching competencies—an essential skill for future-ready, equitable education. Further outreach activities, such as exhibitions and workshops on classroom innovation and research methodology for teachers in partner institutions, extend SDG 4 principles to schools throughout the region. These initiatives build educator capacity and strengthen networks between academia and community-based educational organizations.

Rajapruk University also creates meaningful outreach opportunities through its Digital Marketing programme. Activities such as training on TikTok commerce, branding, and online sales strategies were delivered to local entrepreneurs, women’s groups, and community organizations in various districts of Nonthaburi. Projects under the “Rajapruk Volunteer Power for Sustainable Community Development” youth volunteer initiative supported community-based product development, helping residents upgrade their local goods and improve economic resilience. These initiatives benefit local residents and are accessible to diverse populations, including economically vulnerable groups and individuals who face displacement due to relocation, economic instability, or urban redevelopment.

Across all projects, Rajapruk University demonstrates a clear emphasis on inclusive, accessible, and community-centered SDG education. Whether supporting alumni through upskilling programmes, empowering local residents through health and economic development initiatives, or extending SDG-related learning opportunities to displaced people, the University ensures that SDG knowledge is meaningfully transferred to the wider community.
