Collaboration with Nonthaburi Provincial Community Welfare Fund Network
Rajapruk University continued to strengthen its collaboration with the Nonthaburi Provincial Community Welfare Fund Network, which operates under the Community Organization Development Institute (CODI). Through joint activities focused on digital management, local governance, and community development, the University contributed knowledge and support that assisted regional partners in shaping practices and directions that align with broader SDG-related policies.
1. Capacity-Building Workshops for Digital Fund Management
To improve the administrative capacity of community welfare funds, the University organised training sessions on digital tools and management approaches.
- On 19 September 2024, Rajapruk University conducted a workshop on SWF software for welfare fund operations, with 70 participants from across the Nonthaburi network.
- Faculty members from the Faculty of Digital Technology, assisted by student teams, provided hands-on guidance to help participants apply digital systems for clearer, more accountable fund management.
This support strengthened the network’s ability to manage data and monitor welfare activities, contributing to more consistent practices in line with community development and SDG-oriented frameworks.

2. Workshop on “AI and Welfare Fund Management”
On 13 December 2024, the University hosted the first workshop on AI Technologies and the Management of Community Welfare Funds.
The workshop introduced practical uses of AI for forecasting, planning, and improving service delivery. Participants discussed how digital developments could influence the direction of future welfare work and how new tools could support decision-making that aligns with long-term sustainability goals.

3. Consultation on Project Governance and Alignment with Development Goals
Through the Academic Services Office, the University worked closely with CODI and local community leaders to provide consultation on project planning and governance.
During field visits, faculty specialists advised the Nonthaburi Community Organization Network on:
- preparing project proposals eligible for government support,
- aligning community initiatives with development goals and good governance practices,
- improving monitoring and follow-up mechanisms within welfare programmes.
The University also took part in the cooperation signing ceremony on 17 January 2025, reinforcing its commitment as a partner in ongoing community development efforts

4. Support for Digital Transformation of Urban Community Welfare Funds
Additional consultation was provided to the Bang Lane Urban Community Welfare Fund, focusing on improving operations through digital processes, strengthening financial tracking, and refining monitoring systems.
This work allowed local teams to develop management approaches that are better suited to their context and more consistent with wider regional development strategies.

Through continuous collaboration with CODI and the Nonthaburi Provincial Community Welfare Fund Network, Rajapruk University contributed to regional efforts that support the direction and implementation of SDG-related policies by:
- helping identify challenges within welfare fund operations,
- supporting the development of digital and governance practices,
- exploring future scenarios through emerging technologies,
- strengthening reporting and oversight mechanisms, and
- encouraging adaptive, community-centered management.
These activities reflect the University’s active role in supporting community systems that are transparent, responsive, and aligned with sustainable development priorities.
